Forensic Anthropology Invesitgation: African Female

Help me give my students a final set in their Sherlock Bones kit! This will be used in a Forensic Anthropology Unit to measure and investigate the differences/ similarities in the skeletal remains, based on gender and ethnicity.

My Students

My kids are rural kids that like an opportunity to learn in different ways, whether it's outdoors or exploring models to learn about science. I love that my students are curious and want to do projects that allow them to dig right in! They love to learn about science in fun, creative ways.

My Project

This set will be used in a Forensic Anthropology Unit to measure and investigate the differences and similarities in skeletal remains, based on gender and ethnicity. The students make precise measurements and observations of each bone and compare it to known data to make conclusions about unknown remains.

We currently have a caucasian male and asian female, and would love to add the final piece to further my students' understanding of the biological differences in the skeleton and bone structures of individuals, and how they are used in solving investigations.
