Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This is my first year as a Special Education teacher in a bilingual school. The grades I teach are 6th and 7th grade; my students come from families with limited resources and difficulties acquiring materials.

The children in my class have different diagnoses and goals to achieve. We are working so that each one of them can be fulfilled. In my classroom right now, we need materials such as manipulatives to be able to work, for example, an organizer for your documents, a Flash card to increase your fluency when making sentences, Play-Doh as manipulatives for the class, an electric pencil to be able to have your pencil, Scotch thermal laminator and thermal laminator to be able to laminate worksheets and that can be reusable, creation cube to be able to create figures as well as use them in the area of mathematics, we need glue to be able to do your activities and stick them in your work folder, currency manipulator for math class, thinker accordion to store your essential documents, learning resources for lessons, particular education workbook, and planner to plan and further educate myself about the needs of special education students and finally colored pencils pray to be able to enter their jobs. Currently, I do not have any of these materials mentioned in my classroom because it is my first year teaching. I appreciate any help you can offer my class and me.
