My Students

My students are an eager group of kids that love innovation. They are always looking forward to the next exciting thing to enhance their learning. They are caring, sweet, and hard workers. In our Cambridge classroom we expect students to be engaged with their own learning and reflect upon their learning. My students do this every single day without being asked.

Everyone in my school says, "You have the best class." They want to please and do their best in everything they do.

They are kind, respectful, and helpful. They deserve the best because they are the best.

My Project

I am always trying to be innovative and engaging with my lessons and learning. I found this light table and thought "Wow! All the fun things we could do."

My plan with this light table is to increase engagement in a fun way.

They will be able to use math skills to work with numbers, adding, subtracting, and shape knowledge. They will use science investigations to learn and explore. They will have social emotional practice through sharing and working with others. Finally they will practice their reading and phonics through word work and writing.

I believe their engagement in their learning will increase with the use of this light table. Like fireworks, we are attracted to light and this table will attract my learners.
