My Project

Participating in sports, whether an individual sport or a team sport provides so many opportunities for growth. An individual can learn many character traits like sportsmanship, cooperation, perseverance, self-confidence, patience, and etc..

Discovering new sports and developing their talents is so valuable to children.

Participating in sports can help children create habits for a healthy lifestyle--including better physical and mental health. Sports can provide children opportunities to create friendships and strengthen family connections as family members cheer them on.

Many of our students participate in sports, so naturally, it is a subject they want too read more about. Unfortunately, our sports section consists of just a handful of books. Our students regularly check-out the few sports books we have or are requesting a hold.

Just as you need specific supplies & equipment to participate and perform well in sports. We are needing some supplies for our library. We need some colored pencils, labels, and other operational supplies and also some party favor toys, fidget spinners, tickets, stickers, bookmarks, and other supplies to celebrate the students who strive to be MVP's by exemplifying their best behavior in our library.

Ms. Shena Allen will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by September 5.
