This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Every day, I see my students' eyes light up when they successfully read a story on their own. These decodable readers are exactly what they need to build that confidence and success!

The books are carefully designed so students can practice the exact reading skills they're learning in class, making them feel like reading superstars.

What I love most about these materials is how they grow with my students - each book builds on skills from the previous one, helping them become stronger readers step by step.

My biggest goal is simple: I want every single one of my students to experience the joy of reading successfully on their own. These books will help make that happen because they're specifically designed to match what we're learning in our reading lessons. I want my students to see themselves in what they read, which is why I'm so excited about the diverse characters and real photographs in these books.

I'm also looking forward to using the Reader's Theater materials to bring more fun and teamwork into our reading practice. When students get to practice reading together and support each other, amazing things happen!

My students are the definition of determined! Even when reading is tough, they never give up. They come to class ready to try their best, and they celebrate each other's successes like they're their own. I have one student who struggled with reading at the start of the year, but their face absolutely beams when they successfully read a new word.

These kids deserve materials that match their enthusiasm and determination. With these decodable readers, they'll have books that they can actually read independently, building their confidence one page at a time. Their excitement for learning is contagious!
