My students need a variety of books; high-interest books for low readers, non-fiction, historical fiction, classic novels and the newest titles to grab the students' interest.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Do you remember the book you loved most as a middle school student? Can you remember who wrote your favorite book? Most adults who love to read can recall that book and author in less than a minute. However, more and more students are finding it difficult to find a book they will love forever.
I want to help struggling readers find the book that actually hooks then into reading.
I want them to be able to find an author they love and to read all books by that author. In order to do this, I need my classroom library to have lots of different levels and genres to meet all the personalities of my students.
My Project
The books I have picked out for my donor list will really catch all readers. I have reading levels from third grade all the way to high school in my seventh grade class. Our school library is a huge help, but I want a classroom library for students to be able to grab a book and start reading immediately.
Students today need to be hooked by the first paragraph of a book to keep their interest.
In a technology-driven world, educators are battling with students to actually sit down and read a book. I want to provide books that students want to read cover to cover.
Having such a wonderful classroom library will encourage students to read. I hope to create lifelong readers by simply offering wonderful books for them to read.
