We have amazing students who are eager to learn and try their best! Every morning they come to school ready to focus on the day, sing calendar songs, read the agenda as a class, experiment, and absolutely love to dance to the Learning Station and Kids Bop during brain breaks. They are self-motivated, creative, and use digitial citizenship respectively. Our kinders make every day special with tons of hugs, smiles, laughs, and thinking about others. It will make any teachers’ heart happy!
My Project
Phonemic awareness and alphabet knowledge are some of the first skills we teach in kindergarten. Our students have several benchmark tests that focus on phonemic awareness and alphabet knowledge. Having the Alphabet Rockets, Phonological Awareness Learning Puzzles, Alphabet Mystery Box, and Twist & Turn 3-Letter Word Builders would help our students practice skills tested as grade level benchmarks. At first many students struggle with hearing a word and then breaking the word into each sound.
The learning puzzles would give our students independent practice during workstations.
The alphabet activities would help with fluently identifying letters and sounds. Thank you for considering to donated to "For the Love of Literacy."
