Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The kids in our Title I school are predominantly English Language Learners (ELL)and possess a special kind of strength and spirit. They face challenges that many others don't, and yet, they show up every day with smiles on their faces, ready to learn and grow.

With a well-curated collection of books, tailored to my students' unique interests, we can foster a love for reading and enhance their intellectual growth.

The book sets will be used during our daily 30 minute small group reading time. Access to a variety of genres and subjects will not only broaden their knowledge but also improve their language skills, critical thinking, and empathy. These resources will serve as windows to the world, enabling them to explore new perspectives and and engaging stories that will ultimately nurture a lifelong passion for literacy.
