it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
As a new teacher I want to create an environment that is vibrant, colorful and most importantly suitable for the learning needs of my students. I want to be able to give all my students the best experiences possible, but I need your help...
I am an elementary school first grade teacher in a high needs school in the Lower East Side of Manhattan.
This is my first year as a teacher and having a classroom of my own. My students come diverse cultures and economic backgrounds. My first graders are curious, eager and hard working learners. These students not only learn from their teachers, but from each other.
My Project
Having a printer in a classroom is very important. A printer in the classroom allows me to create materials that will address the needs of my students. A printer allows me to provide students with materials that enhance their learning and allows them practice on a daily basis. The benefits of having a printer include printing homework, classwork, fun/educational games and notes/newsletters for parents. In order to keep benefiting from having a printer in the classroom, we need a lot of black and color ink!
It is important to be able to provide students with materials that enhance their learning.
It is important that students have access to different learning materials that sometimes cannot be provided to them from a book. It is my wish to provide my students with everything and anything that will enhance their learning and by supporting this project you are helping me to provide my students with all resources that can be given to them by simply pressing "print".
