This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have wonderful group of students this 2019-2020 school year. My students live in a small rural community in Northern California. Our school is departmentalized, meaning that all kindergartners come into my classroom everyday for math instruction. My kindergarten students are eager to learn and excited to see what the day will bring.

I am a teacher that wants to help develop my students growth by listening and watching my students and their interests.

My Project

We are running low on the basic art supplies to get through the year. We use many different types of art supplies everyday. With Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's day, and Easter coming up we are planning on making some fun and engaging art projects.

I have some artistic kids this year who love to show off their skills.

I would love to give them the opportunity to use the materials needed to do these projects. I am excited to try out a crayon sharpener to allow the kids to color in the lines with more ease. I cannot wait to see the creations my students come up with!
