For My Future Authors

Help me give my students handwriting workbooks, pencil grips, and a sensory literacy kit to become successful writers that are able to express their own thoughts and opinions on to paper.

My Students

I am going into my second year of teaching at a Title One school and I have been given the opportunity to loop with my students to the grade above. Although my first year of teaching was difficult due to the presence of COVID-19, it demonstrated to me how resilient and strong my students were. They were able to try their best despite the copious number of distractions and hardships present around them. They grew so much last year emotionally, socially, and academically, and I am looking forward to seeing how much more they can succeed in the upcoming school year.

My students receiving special education services inspire me each and everyday to put my best foot forward.

They possess such kind hearts and I would be overjoyed to contribute to their learning experiences via donations through DonorsChoose.

My Project

The students will benefit immensely from the resources that are included within this project. They will be able to use the resources to support their writing abilities. My students receive special education services and the pencil grips will help to service their fine motor needs. The sensory literacy kit will help my students understand concepts of print and how to express themselves through words and sentences.

I would like my students to be provided with opportunities to write so they can use to share their thoughts and ideas with those around them.

My students are incredibly hard working and resilient. The resources will support their learning and help them to become more successful at writing.
