My Students

The late, great Kobe Bryant said "“May you always remember to enjoy the road, especially when it’s a hard one.” This is what comes to mind when I think of the heart of the prototypical SFT Cyclone athlete. SFT kids are the most at-risk middle schoolers out of the 31 schools in the entire county.

Our kids wrestle with hunger, homelessness, broken families, and low-income households.

This does not stop them from their pursuit to become the best that they can be. On the contrary, Cyclones have a certain level of resilience that is unmatched and they live for the escape of competition.

My Project

In the end, it is all about ensuring these athletes have all that they need when they train and compete. Most other teams have these resources because many of them have parents and families that can afford to pay for them themselves. This creates an unintended disadvantage for our kids when they engage in competition. On the field, these football accessories will help give us a competitive edge when approaching our strategies for games. Off the field, these training products, through hard work, will ensure we are faster and more explosive!
