My Project

My fourth grade students are truly amazing. This is my second year having the majority of these students, so they are a close knit class. They encourage each other on a daily basis, and are eager to learn more each day. Despite Covid, my students are remaining positive, and they inspire me with their resilience and kindness.

Learning starts with proper nutrition.

Without proper nutrition and rest, students' brains cannot be ready to learn. All of my students are provided a breakfast and lunch each day at school. On reduced days, students have snack time since they are sent home with a lunch. Many of my students rely on the school meals to get their food for the day, and many do not bring a snack to eat during the day. This project will help me give a little extra food to my students.
