My Students

I am a school nurse over at the elementary level. I love each and every single one of my students and they are my inspiration for everything and anything I do or add to the clinic! Since I am a nurse and not a teacher, all of the students in the school are "my students", from Pre-Kindergarten all the way up to 5th grade. Meaning kiddos from ages 3 all the way to 11! This means I have many students I am responsible for making sure they are safe, happy, and healthy!

Our school is located in a low-income area so unfortunately some of our students' parents are not able to provide them the nutritional value they need in the mornings.

I've also got many growing kiddos here that could eat, and eat. Some of our students don't have access to food for breakfast at home or sometimes even dinner.

My Project

With your help in donating to our project you will be helping students have that extra, very needed, snack/food in order to fuel their bodies for learning! With these items, students will be able to feel full or at least content. Sometimes our lunches and breakfasts that are provided through our district is just not enough for our growing kiddos. They need that extra protein to get strong! They need those extra carbs to help them focus! They need those snacks to power on through the day. Sometimes what the school provides isn't always what a student either likes or feels comfortable eating. With these snacks, I can give them that variety and prevent the possibility of them feeling hungry or ending up with a stomachache.
