My students are amazing and will be learning about caring for others. We will be learning about ways that students can impact their community and one way is by taking part in feeding those that are in need within their community. The goal of this project is for students to start dying community service to help the families within their own school community who are experiencing food insecurity. The students will make sure that students that are hungry in our school community are able to come to the pantry to take food when they are in need.
My project is to request shelf stable food for a classroom food pantry.
My students will be in charge of the packages, sorting the food, organizing the pantry and advertising that the food will be available to all students in the school community who would like a meal due to the hunger that they are experiencing.
Thank you so very much for supporting this project.
