I teach at the same inner-city district that I graduated from. Our strength lies in our diversity, my high school pulls from ninety city neighborhoods. It’s a wonderful place to work and learn, and our students are amazing. I’m starting a food pantry and will need supplies as we move forward, to help fill the gap for some of our struggling families.
My Project
Helping to meet students' basic needs is a vital part of being able to serve our community through education. Hungry children can't focus on education, and no child should remain hungry in our building when we can simply feed them. Please help us to meet these very basic needs of our kids, so that we can move forward in being a community-focused school. Thank you so much for your consideration! We so appreciate any donation towards these bins we'll use to keep our food safe from pests and sealed for freshness.
