Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students enrolled in Culinary classes currently do not have an adequate amount of supplies to enjoy successful & sanitary food lab experiences. COVID-19 showed us the importance of having a clean, sanitary environment to work in. My students will benefit from the items requested in my project because it will ensure they all have a clean apron and enough dish cloths and towels to safely clean and sanitize the dishes they use while preparing foods. They will also get to utilize the blenders, can openers, portion scoops and slotted spoons to successfully demonstrate their learning while preparing foods during their food labs.
