My Students
Help me give my students snacks that will help them stay energized throughout the day. Having full stomachs help them to stay focused on the days lesson and retain what they're learning. This will boost their young minds! Food equity is a real and serious issue in the community of our school and something that some of our students face in their lives. Being able to provide a bit of nourishment to them will not only help satisfy a physical hunger, but will provide energy throughout the day so they can satisfy their educational needs as well.
Please help provide my students with snacks to help carry them through the school day and not worry about meals.
With growing minds, sustenance is important for a student to be able to learn at their highest potential. Often enough students disengage or drift off from instruction because their bellies are growling and they become agitated. Having a resource of snacks to be able to provide them with will help ease their hunger and give them the chance to stay focused and engaged with our learning! We appreciate your desire and willingness to help and we are grateful for your generosity.
My Project
Having energy throughout the day is often difficult for students who sometimes come to school hungry. If students have snacks that they can get to during the day it will help them stay focused and ready to learn. A full belly helps a mind stay ready to absorb instruction.
When the mind is focused on eating, it is not focused on learning, and your generosity can remedy that.
Giving my students these snacks will allow me to help them overcome something that could be a hindrance to their learning: mid-day hunger. The most productive and successful students are the ones who aren't milling through class waiting for lunch period.
