My Project

If a student is hungry, schoolwork becomes even more difficult. I have several students that come into my classroom for snacks. By providing food and snacks for my students, their learning has improved since they do not have to focus on being hungry. My goal is to provide snacks to students so they can concentrate better not only in my class but in their other classes as well.

Having snacks and food will go directly to my high school students so they can be healthy and focused during the school day.

While students like having some of their favorite snacks, such as chips, many students also like having more hearty food, such as sandwiches. These snacks will go directly to my high school students and help them stay packed, healthy, and focused throughout the day.

My students know they can come to my room at any time and ask for a snack. By providing snacks to my students, I have seen a tremendous increase in their effort and in the quality of their work. Many quality relationships have been built in my classroom while eating snacks. Full stomachs have helped many students who struggle to focus and pay attention in school, to be successful throughout the day!
