Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
One of the most common complaints that I hear from my students during recess and class time are "I'm hungry" and "Can I have a snack?" These complaints inspired me to write this proposal. Many of my students depend on our school for a complete breakfast and lunch but they are always complaining about hunger. It just breaks my heart.
I am requesting for snacks such as chips, popcorn and cookies so that they could be passed out during recess and snack time.
I also keep a small group of students for extra help. At the end of the day, they need healthy snacks to help them concentrate and focus. These items will provide my students with the essential nutrients to learn and grow.
