Our students are mostly low-income, and also some are foster youth and/or are homeless. They are responsible, respectful and compassionate human beings.
Valley Oak embrases the power of community and connectedness.
We, as a school, are committed to support students in all aspects of their lives.
Valley Oak breathes our motto "Everything is Connected". We value hard work and strive to ensure all of our students earn a high school diploma alonside the tools and vision to make their post-it secondary dreams a reality.
Providing a snack when students are hungry will help them concentrate better in their learning. I constantly hear their stomachs growling in class. For the past two years, I have provided snacks, which I pay out of pocket without hesitation, but the high costs are making it impossible for me to continue to pay. Any help will be greatly appreciated! The students are deserving of a snack, which most of the time, can't be provided by their parents and/or guardians as their earnings from work barely help to make ends meet at home. Please help me by giving students at my school the extra energy needed to learn during their time at school.
