Students in our classes are often hungry between meals here at school and/or before practice. It has been proven that when students are hungry, they don't learn as well. We want to be able to help our students do their best by providing them a small snack when needed.
Our students work best with full stomachs and are very motivated by prizes for participation and engagement during lessons.
We have also found that middle school students are more motivated to participate in class when they can get a small rewards for their willingness to take the risk to answer questions and ask questions in front of their peers. Small prizes will help to engage our learners and keep them on task!
This grant would help our students do their best work on their lessons!
