This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students enter the room in the morning looking forward to learning. It is a struggle engaged when they are hungry. I would like for my students to enjoy learning. My students are from a high poverty school. Many of them would never get the chance to enjoy learning without help from donations from people that care about their education and future. By giving to my project you would be helping my kindergarten students develop a joy for learning by feeding their mind and body.
My Project
Please help me give my students snacks to eat before they leave school. Our lunch is at 10:00 in the morning. The students get moody and restless before school gets out. I have noticed that when they have a snack in the afternoon they are able to perform better the remainder of the school day. Unfortunately, I am not always able to offer them snacks.
I would like to have these snacks so that my students can have something to eat before they go home.
The snacks will allow them to focus on learning and not being hungry. I want them to be able to have something to nourish their bodies while they are learning.
