Food For The Future With Aquaponics!

Help me give my students an Aquaponics complete kit to provide experiential learning in Aquaponics and alternate growing methods for the future.

My Students

All my students are in the gifted program in grades 4-12. They all reside at different schools and all have different interests. We have covered much territory with many topics of study. It is absolutely a privilege to teach these gifted individuals and they inspire me daily to explore new ideas, theories and creations.

Because these students are able to acquire large amounts of information related to a variety of topics and areas of study, I know how important it is to provide opportunities that allow them to investigate, analyze, and create projects which will enhance their intellectual growth.

Each student's perception and talent inspire me to open my mind and explore the possibilities. These students are excited about learning and know what they want to learn next.

My Project

Students in our school are exploring novel and successful ways to grow food. One of these is the use of Aquaponics. This system is more easily understood and more likely to reach classrooms and homes if students are given an opportunity for experiential learning in this area. Students have been planting and growing in the classroom for decades. They need opportunities to explore new methods.

These new methods and opportunities for real life learning will make an impression and shape the future for all.

The inspiration in this area could lead to new discoveries.

Students involved in this project will be talking about it to others, sharing ideas and thinking of new ways to improve the production of food while protecting the quality and vitality.
