Students will use the iPad to research, collect data and view on line scientific instruments over time. The iPad will provide ease of access for a mobile classroom as the teacher travels from school to school. Applications can be applied to the iPad for further investigations of the Sun and Earth's relationship. The video camera will allow students to create their own video versions of the research while the iPad will be the tool for using on line scientific instruments and collecting data. Both of these tools together will allow a smooth flow through the scientific method while also encouraging creativity.
