Food for Growing Minds

Help me give my students a chance to not go hungry and have the food they need to learn.

My Project

Many of the students I work with are often hungry. during the school day we do what we can by providing breakfast, lunch and a snack. Sometimes this is the only time students eat. I would like to start a program were kids can get a snack, dinner and weakened food.

Being hungry can affect the way students learn and regulate their emotions during the school day.

The foods that I have chosen like Hormel microwave meal, mac and cheese and soup are easy meal that our students can manage on their own. some of the snacks are also made to be easier on the child. I hope that you can help me jump start this program for our students.
