My Project

My students are truly special. They're full of energy, curiosity, and a resilience that inspires me every day. They come from diverse backgrounds, each with unique stories and learning styles. What unites them is their eagerness to learn and grow, even when faced with challenges. Many of my students face food insecurity. This impacts their ability to focus in class and thrive academically. That's why I'm so passionate about this project.

The items I'm requesting, breakfast bars, drinks, and snacks will directly address some of their most basic needs, creating a more supportive and conducive learning environment.

My primary goal is to create a classroom environment where every student feels safe, supported, and ready to learn. I want to remove the barriers that prevent them from reaching their full potential. Specifically, I aim to Improve student focus and engagement in the classroom. increase student attendance by addressing health concerns, boost student self-esteem and confidence, and create a stronger sense of community within the classroom.

My middle school students are incredibly special because of their resilience, their spirit, and their potential. They face challenges that many adults can't even imagine, yet they come to school each day with a desire to learn and a hope for a brighter future. They are incredibly supportive of each other, creating a warm and welcoming classroom environment. They inspire me every day with their determination and their kindness. They deserve every opportunity to succeed, and I believe that by providing them with these basic necessities, we can empower them to reach their full potential. I'm confident that with a little support, they will achieve great things.
