My Students

I have the pleasure of working with outstanding children.

They come to school prepared to learn and try their best every day. I teach in a Title I school with a high population of non-native English speakers. Our school is located in a low-income area, with most students receiving free or reduced-price lunch. I focus on the potential and growth of the children in my room. That growth is measured in student joy and love for learning and their engagement in classroom activities!

My Project

Many of my students come to school hungry and need a snack to help them stay awake and focused. Since the students in the school I serve are in a low-income community, they often don't have the basic needs like food. It's hard to think or work on an empty stomach.

Good nutrition and cleanliness is essential for a student’s mental health, academic achievement, and physical productivity.

I want to be able to provide them with a healthy snack during the day to keep their bodies running. I want to promote cleanliness through the cleaning of desks and Clorox wipes will help them connect cleaning to healthy habits. These cleaners and snacks will help my students recharge their energy and maintain a clean environment needed to complete the daily tasks at school.
