My Project
As a first year teacher, the adjustment is very difficult. In just a few weeks I have learned a lot. The number 1 thing is that my students are always asking for snacks. They also often steal my co-teachers comfortable office chair when he is out of the classroom. For these reasons, I'm hoping to get funding for two chairs that they will be able to comfortably relax in after finishing their work.
With the snacks, I never want hunger to be the reason they don't understand something.
I teach Math, which many people dislike. I don't want to add any more barriers to learning.
I also am hoping to get funding for a TPT gift card so that I can get more fun activities for my kids to make them enjoy learning math more.
