Help me give my students new books to start off the 2024 school year and create a love of reading by following a character through a series. Find comfortable places to read and gather for whole group conversations.

My Project

Help me kick start my 2024 school year by providing students new sets of books to dive right into. Having sets of series can deepen students' levels of understanding by allowing them to follow their characters through many changes and events. Students will be excited about finishing books knowing that they can read more to find out what happens next.

By providing students comfortable places to read these new sets of books and flexible seating options (stools and dish chair), this will allow them to focus on what is right in front of them and immerse themselves in their books.

Having a large rug in our classroom will allow for morning meeting conversations and a place for our classroom family to gather and provide a safe place for sharing ideas.

These items will help set the tone for a successful year and foster a love of learning.
