Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

From beginner to the most advanced my students are elated to be diving into painting and ceramics in our classroom and I would love to offer them materials and resources to build their skills and creativity. Table top easels will enable students to stand while painting or view their work vertically which can help students develop better painting technique. Pottery wheels allow students to be introduced to a tool most students have never had the chance to experience. The wheel opens the door to a myriad of ways of working with clay!

These wonderful students crave hands-on learning and thrive when given these experiences to explore the recesses of their creative potential.

My goal every year is to give students the best art class experience I am able to offer and these resources and materials can make the difference between indifference and engagement…and when kids plug into their creativity, that’s the real magic of the art room.
