We have amazing students that are so talented and have a wide range of interests and skills. Last year, we brought back our Science Night and made it an even bigger event by making it STEAM Night! We have outreach from outside partners come in to do activities with the kids and their families, and we also have our very own students do the same! They choose a lab that we have done in class to run with families that evening. They work in teams so that they can take turns running the station so the other(s) can also go and enjoy the event and take everything in.
It is an amazing event, that we are constantly looking to make better than the year before!
The event has grown and evolved so much over the years. We are to the point that we need to start getting our own folding tables to use for this event. These tables will be used for our outreach presenters to run their lab stations, as well as our own students to run their outreach stations. These tables will allow for easier set up and tear down the night of the event. Which will allow students more time to practice using their set up before the big event.
