My Project
Providing my 8th grade students with essential supplies like two pocket folders with prongs, poster boards, and dry erase markers will directly support their academic success. The folders will help students stay organized by keeping their class materials, assignments, and notes neatly separated and easily accessible, which is crucial for staying on top of coursework. Poster board will encourage hands-on learning and creativity, allowing students to visualize math concepts, present projects, and collaborate with peers. Dry erase markers offer an interactive way to practice math problems and concepts, allowing for immediate feedback and a more engaging approach to learning. For students coming from a low socio-economic background, these tools not only foster better organizational skills, but also provide the support they need to develop essential math skills, improving their preparedness for state assessments and boosting their confidence.
