My Project

I get to work with amazing 12- to 14-year-olds who are supposed to control their ever-changing emotions and bodies for 7 hours straight while engaging in deep thinking learning. This is a hard task to ask of fully matured individuals.

I want to ensure my students have the skills to self-regulate later in their lives and this starts by having the materials for them in their classroom.

When given choices on how to set up their own learning environment, they will naturally engage in their academic learning and personal growth. My students deserve to develop the skills they will need for the rest of their lives.
