Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My junior high students are energetic, thoughtful, and full of potential. They do best in a structured, supportive environment that encourages focus, organization, and collaboration. Many of them juggle responsibilities at home while trying their best to stay on top of multiple classes and assignments throughout the day.

This project will provide several key resources to help students stay engaged, work together, and stay organized:

Mints will be available during independent work and testing to help students stay alert, reduce anxiety, and stay engaged during long assignments or assessments.

A classroom table will give students a place to sit in partners or small groups for collaborative work, discussions, and hands-on learning activities.

A file cabinet will be used as a central station for homework turn-in, class handouts, and organizing materials for multiple class periods—helping students and the teacher stay on track.

Staplers will be used daily for assignments, projects, and organizing student work in portfolios or folders.

These simple but impactful items will make a big difference in how our classroom functions. Students will benefit from a more organized, collaborative, and focused environment that helps them feel confident and in control of their learning.
