This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In our junior high ELA classroom, focus and organization are key to helping students succeed. My students are curious, hardworking, and eager to grow—but with a variety of learning styles and needs, it's essential to create a learning environment that supports both independence and concentration.
To help every student thrive, I am requesting a classroom set of durable headphones along with storage bins to keep them organized and accessible.
These tools will allow students to engage with personalized ELA lessons, digital practice platforms, and instructional videos without distractions and testing.
Headphones for Focused Learning:
Many of our math programs include audio support, interactive lessons, and video explanations that help reinforce key concepts. With a reliable set of headphones, students can work at their own pace, focus more easily, and receive the support they need—whether they're reviewing a tricky concept or pushing ahead with enrichment tasks.
Storage Bins for Organization:
To keep our learning environment neat and efficient, we also need labeled storage bins to safely store and organize the headphones. This will ensure students can easily access their materials and help maintain a clean, well-managed classroom.
By supporting this project, you’ll help create a space where students can stay focused, take ownership of their learning, and engage deeply with reading and writing in a way that meets their individual needs.
