My Project

Throughout our day, students engage in rigorous activities that require them to maintain their focus and attention. However, right now we are in need of headphones and flexible seating in order to help them do so. Students are having difficulty focusing on their technology because they do not have headphones; therefore, they cannot maximize their learning and maintain their focus. By having the flexible seating chairs, I believe our students will feel more comfortable and have a greater desire to focus and maximize their learning time. These chairs can also be used when a student feels they need a break from class. The feeling of the rocking in the chairs will really make a difference in helping them calm down.

This project will improve our classrooms because it will make our classroom more student centered, focused, and foster independence.

Having items such as the flexible seating chairs make classrooms feel less like a school, but more like a comfortable and welcoming "home" environment. I also feel that by having the chairs and headphones in our classrooms, it will encourage our students to maintain their focus and determination!
