Help me give my students a seat that will help them stay focused. With a wobble chair, they can get their wiggles out, work on their core muscles and stay focused all at the same time!

My Students

I have kind, caring third and fourth graders who share and help each other. I am just starting flexible seating and I do not have a lot of different seating options yet. About 6-7 of my kids have brought in their own seats or pillows and they are sharing them with the other kids in our class. They are willing to share anything. Their kindness shows in other ways, too. They are helpful not just to me, but to other students and adults on campus.

My Project

With flexible seating, students choose the learning environment that works best for them. Wobble chairs would be a great choice for those kids that need to move. They can stay in their seat and stay focused while at the same time they can be moving, but not distracting other students around them.

These seats are not only fun to sit on, but the students are working their core muscles at the same time.

These seats would just be one of many options for students to chose from in my flexible seating classroom. I want to give my students as many seating choices as I possible can and these chairs would be a wonderful addition to my classroom choices.
