My Students

My 3rd graders are little, glowing balls of energy! They each bring something unique and positive to our classroom. Our saying is, "We are all family in here." No one is left out, and everyone is celebrated.

My classroom is apart of an Integrated Arts school.

With everything we do (math, reading, writing, team building, etc.), I try to incorporate the arts in some way. Students thrive with this teaching method, and I enjoy the professional space to be creative as well!

My Project

Students learn best in a comfortable environment that provides minimal distractions. When students can choose seats that are most comfortable to them, they are able to focus on their school work. I wish to give my students more of these flexible seating options.

The Kore Chairs are perfect for those students of mine who just can't seem to sit still!

I cannot wait to provide them with a seat that allows them to move without distracting others. Right now, these students are constantly tipping their seats onto 2 legs, which is a safety hazard. They fall out of their seats, and sometimes other students and myself trip over them. To keep them safe, and to help everyone focus on learning, these chairs are essential.

The Lap Desks will be a great tool for those students who love to work on the floor. They will no longer have to lay on their bellies, or have a sore back from leaning over a clipboard. These Lap Desks are going to be a hot commodity in our classroom!
