My Project

Because many of our students have different learning needs—whether sensory, speech and language, attention, or developmental—headphones and audio splitters are essential tools. These resources will help them stay focused during independent and small-group activities, reduce overwhelming classroom noise, and access digital content like read-alouds, calming music, or speech programs. They’ll allow each student to engage with learning in a way that works best for them, building confidence, independence, and a love for learning.

The primary goal of this project is to create a more inclusive, focused, and supportive learning environment for all of our students, especially those who benefit from sensory regulation and individualized instruction.

By providing quality headphones and an audio splitter, we aim to:

Support Diverse Learning Needs: Allow students to access differentiated content—whether it’s audiobooks, speech and language apps, or calming sensory music—based on their individual goals and learning styles.

Encourage Language and Literacy Development: Provide access to read-alouds, phonics programs, and other auditory learning tools that build vocabulary, comprehension, and listening skills.

Foster a Calm and Organized Classroom: Reduce overall classroom noise and give students more control over their auditory environment, helping them feel more comfortable and ready to learn.

What I love most about our students is their joy, resilience, and incredible capacity for growth. Each child brings a unique personality, spark, and way of seeing the world. Our classroom is full of learners who are curious, kind, and determined—even when learning is hard. They support each other, celebrate small victories, and remind us daily of the power of patience and connection.

Ultimately, my goal is to help each student feel successful, supported, and proud of their progress, one focused moment at a time
