This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Dear Donor,

I am seeking support for a simple yet powerful tool that can significantly enhance the learning experience of my students with special needs: privacy boards.

These boards create a structured, distraction-free workspace that helps students focus, feel secure, and build confidence in the classroom. Many of my students struggle with distractions, anxiety, and sensory overstimulation, making it difficult for them to stay engaged. Privacy boards provide a personal, quiet space that:

**Reduces distractions** by blocking out visual stimuli, improving concentration.

**Creates a sense of security** for students who feel overwhelmed in a busy environment.

**Encourages independence** by minimizing reliance on peers.

**Eases test anxiety** by offering a private, stress-free workspace.

**Supports confidentiality** for students who may feel self-conscious about their accommodations.

**Promotes task completion** by helping students stay focused and on track.

With these tools, my students will have the support they need to thrive academically and emotionally. Thank you.
