Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are from Albuquerque, New Mexico. We are a title one school with different ethnic and financial backgrounds. My students are motivated and very outgoing. This year I have students who went up two grade levels in math and was recognized by the district for their achievements. My students are motivated, energetic and fun to be with. They work hard and care about their grades. Many of my students do not have access to a computer at home and use their time wisely to get all their lessons done during the school day.
My Project
These headphones will help my special education students focus on their lessons. Each student has a Chromebook to do I-READY Math lessons. With so many students in the room, the students will be able to have privacy and concentrated with no distractions. Testing and assessments are done individually in each lesson. My student's goal is to be at grade level by the end of the school year. Students can move levels at their own pace.

Students will be able to simply focus on the academic material at hand, and not whether their materials are going to work or not.
