This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are brave and trying their best. They come to zoom meeting with the best intentions for learning. We all miss being in class but have decided that we are going to make the best out of this distance learning situation. However not everyone has the ideal work environment for learning at home. So I am hoping with this project and your help we can make that situation a little better.
My goal is to make my class engaging so that students want to be there, so that we can work together to bring out their inner mathematician!
Part of that includes creative ways to limit distractions and focus them on the lesson at hand.
My Project
We are four weeks in and through adversity my students are doing the best they can to make distance learning work! However some have many distractions at home that keep them from focusing on Math during our live calls. These headphones with mics will allow students to focus on the lesson and discuss or ask questions without the background noise distracting them or the other students on the call.
This project will help my students focus on the math and cancel out the noise in their background!
Success for my students is my main goal and providing them with tools to make that possible will help achieve that.
