My Students

As a teacher in a low income school district, many of my students lack the basic necessities to be successful. I try my best to provide what I can for them. I have the pleasure of teaching students at the early college level in my district, which means most of my students attend community college classes while in high school. The dedication these students have to their education is beyond inspirational. They show great aptitude and drive despite their home life and/or financial situation.

Hurricane Harvey devastated my school's community, including the only high school in the district.

Most of our school district was displaced to other campuses following Harvey, and we recently moved back into our home campus. The destruction was devastating, and we are slowly recovering. We lost so much in the storm, including classroom materials, technology, and school supplies. With your help, I know that we will make the best of a tough situation!

My Project

We need this document camera in my classroom so that I can project work and hands-on materials on the board so that all my students can see. We currently have only 1 way to project from an iPad, but the screen is so small, only the students in the front of the classroom can see what is bring projected.

This document camera will allow me to reach all of my students at the same time!

I will be able to show them all at once how to use geometry tools, how to work out problems, or even have students come up and show what they know!

We will be so grateful for this donation to our classroom.
