This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I love teaching second grade. I have an enthusiastic group of 23 second graders who love to learn, this makes them a special group to teach. They are at various degrees in terms of ability but work well as a group of dynamic learners who want to succeed. They are helpful with one another and encourage each other to do their BEST at all times.

The students come from several different countries and bring a diverse background to our classroom community.

They are a curious group of individuals!!

My Project

These wobble seats will make a difference in my students' learning because they will be able to concentrate on their learning during small group instruction and be given a choice about seating. If they are able to focus more on their learning then they will make great progress in small groups getting the essential foundation they need to build on their learning and be on grade level.

These wobble seats are a seating alternative to increase a child's ability to focus and learn.

I will be able to teach students who are actively engaged in learning. The students' learning outcome will be more working on grade level and meeting as well as exceeding grade level expectations.
