Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Kindergarten is such an exciting group of mixed interests, abilities, and goals. Some of my students are learning to read, write, and count, while some of their classmates are learning to imitate sounds or hold a paintbrush. Our group loves to play outside, learn new games, and boogie to a sweet tune.

In this class, we build a community around what we have in common and our shared experiences.

We are part of a larger school that celebrates inclusion. My classroom is about building skills to get included. The work we do in this classroom is building relationships, staying with the group, following directions, and accessing general education content in different ways. We celebrate little wins together each day.

My Project

This project will make a huge difference for my students while they are at home. It will be the difference between my students have what they need to learn and not. Our project will bring binders, pencil cases, ink, laminating sheets, and paper to their homes. These are basic supplies that all students need to be successful.

By donating to my project, you will not only help make their time at home be successful, but you will be giving my students what they need to continue learning.

I will be able to create reusable binders, that my students can use at home to practice reading, writing and math skills on a daily basis. Students will be able to focus on their academics at hand and not worry if they have the right materials they need to work. They will be able to be successful at home..
