This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are always looking for ways to inspire our students. Adding a drone experience to the classroom is one way to do this. Our students, and most of the world, are fascinated by drones. Some are fascinated because they can be annoying, some because they can do light shows in a swarm formation, and some just because they are kind of cool.

These drones don't just fly, they are programmable.

And that is where they play a part in our Computer Science Classroom. The ability to program a drone allows our students to take their code and move beyond the computer terminal and see what their code does in real life. These drones will add a new level of awesomeness to our classroom.
