My Students

My 2nd grade (EC, ESL) class varies greatly in ability levels and workshop time is critical for them to enhance their skills in specific areas of need. During literacy or science workshop time I am only able to work with a small group of kids, while the rest are working on independent activities

My students must have engaging activities in order for them to work independently and to find that motivation within.

With these awesome literacy activities my students are going to be SO excited about learning! They live in a time where their world revolves around games and technology, so why not bring it into their classroom world?

My Project

2nd Grade is a critical time for ALL kids to be fluent in their reading in all subject areas. My goal is to lay that foundation and guarantee that they are successful in not only reading, but science and math to mention a few others. My students need a Tag Reading System and stories to go with it, National Geographic Fact Cards and other Workshop activities to take them over the top in success! Your donation will be the key in giving our workshop time a new pizazz and they will be begging to read National Geographic Facts and the latest Fancy Nancy adventure. Please make this school year a success by giving these kids the education they deserve. Year after year statistics show that the students that lack in critical literacy skills suffer in all other areas. Don't let this happen! This will make a world of difference in my 2nd grade class!

Teachers are always looking for better ways to use their workshop time: new independent activities, games, and exciting technology.
