My Students

My students are inspiring, eager to learn, and always hungry for more knowledge; however, we live in a relatively poor community, so necessary materials are restricted. Nonetheless, my students put their best feet forward daily to make great leaps.

My students genuinely love hands-on learning opportunities and take pride in their creative work.

I enjoy giving my students these opportunities any time I possibly can.

Learning in kindergarten is so amusing; it should be fun and adventurous, not taxing and boring!

My Project

The materials I am requesting for my students will exercise their brains and their bodies. This fun and engaging practice will enrich our already wonderful curriculum so well! I am asking for your help to supply our classroom with Teachers Pay Teachers Gift Cards so that I can purchase a Fluency & Fitness slides bundle. This bundle is specifically for kindergarten and will help my students build on their their abilities to fluently identify these things in Reading: letters sounds, rhyming words, syllables, nonsense words, CVC words, phoneme substitution, phoneme segmentation, silent e, short vowels, word families (short vowels), fry words - 1st 10, dolch words, and sight word phrases. This bundle will also help my students build on their their abilities to fluently identify these things in Math: colors and shapes, numbers, number sense, graphing, patterns, measurement, even and odd, comparing numbers, place value, making 10, dice addition/subtraction, addition, and subtraction.

The donations to this project will help improve my students' fluency in both Reading and Math foundational skills that they need to be successful!

I am confident that having the opportunity to implement these daily will give my students the fluency practice they must have!
