This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have run out of glue that my students use for two different project: Flowers print booklet and Collage.

My goal is that students experience, explore and engage in creative solutions using and learning about different materials and techniques.

Printmaking booklet includes a few steps; first, they draw different line movements using oil pastels, which they glue on a larger paper when finished. I use glue stick for this project since moisture from liquid glue can damage print on the paper. Students print their flower design creation on existing paper, and final touch is booklet decoration with (preferably) metallic markers.

For my Collage project, we are actually using liquid glue since students , beside paper magazines, can use yarn, different textile and materials like sand. Your help is appreciated!
